Marmz's Guild Leader Retirement |
|
Nov 15, 2009 - 7:12 AM - by Admin

"The only safe ship in a storm is leadership."
For the past 10 months, Animosity has grown from a small group of gamers with a clear vision of what a guild should be to a large, prosperous and close knit community of gamers from all over the world.
Every Leader, Officer and Member has contributed towards making this guild as good as it can possibly be. However, much of our success today should be placed on the shoulders of one man - Marmz. Marmz has been a foundation of Animosity since it was formed in January. He has put hard work and effort into the guild we have today. It was his vision and insight that put us on the path we find ourselves walking. It was his inspiration that led both myself and Desy to Animosity with him. Marmz has been a brilliant leader, a dedicated member and a good friend to many of us here in Animosity.
So it is with great sadness that I inform you all that Marmz has confirmed he is stepping down from the Guild Leadership of Animosity.
Marmz has taken the hard decision to move his focus to real life endeavours and as we always say, "IRL comes first." Marmz has been a driving force behind Animosity; both myself and Desy along with the rest of the Officers and Moderators here at Animosity are sad to see him step down.
In order to not beleaguer this difficult post, I will end it here but I would like to welcome everyone to join Indelible, Desy, Darkoray, Caine, Guy, ... [Read More]

New Class: Imperial Agent |
|
Nov 13, 2009 - 2:46 AM - by Indelible

Six down, two to go. Bioware have revealed the next class in the TOR line up, and the third class on the Sith side of the fence - the Imperial Agent.
The Imperial Agent is the Empires answer to an assassin and spy. Using high tech gear and cunning only the Sith could display, the Imperial Agent specialises in doing as much devastation to a single target before it starts taking any flak itself.

As you can see, this is pretty much the class that everyone was expecting out of Bioware on the Sith side of the fence, combining elements of the Sith Assassin from KotoR with a new take on the role of spies within the Empire.
Now we turn our heads to the last two classes: Unlike the last 6 classes, the last two are shrouded in mystery. Up until now we've been able to predict what's coming but the last two are causing quite a stir. Some are arguing that the last two class will be two more force using classes to compliment the two already in the game, whilst others are suggesting a non-force based melee class as there are only two melee classes available right now. Truth be told, no one has any idea what's coming next but with 2010 convention season right around the corner... I doubt we'll be waiting for long ;-)
